This event took place from the Dom tower in Utrecht. The prologue of the Tour the France started here in 2015, and this spectacular descent was part of the press moment on that occasion.
WORK ACTIVITIES
Bilfinger Height Specialists installed an extreme slanting rope along the church. With the help of descent techniques the cyclist descended from the church tower, accompanied on his bicycle. The spectators could look at the church from a certain position, which made it look as if the cyclist was actually riding off the cathedral. We performed this stunt with a 5-man team.
